7829 Battery Holder
Drop-in replacement battery holder for Playmobil RC trains
Replaces the Playmobil 7829 AA Battery Holder and compatible with all Playmobil RC Trains.
No assembly required - just load in your AA batteries and away you go. (Batteries not included)
Now compatible with rechargeable batteries without modification thanks to upgraded battery holder.
Recessed battery contacts as with original Playmobil version.
Increased material thickness for 3D printed parts to further increase strength. Printed in ASA (see below for more information)
Polarity marked on rear of case as with original Playmobil version.
Improved standard retention spring clip. The battery holder locks in place just like the original Playmobil version.
Additional stronger retention spring clip included.

Battery Contacts
Cleaning:
It is common for the battery contacts in the motor unit to be corroded.
This often occurs due to batteries leaking when the train is put away for extended periods without removing the batteries first.
Please check your contacts before use and clean as required. The metal should be shiny and clear of discolouration.
Be careful and as gentle as possible when cleaining contacts as the metal may have become brittle.
Repair:
It is possible for corroded battery contacts to snap during cleaning or already be broken.

3D Printing
Parts are printed in ASA (acrylonitrile styrerne acrylate), unless otherwise stated, which is an all purpose thermoplastic with excellent weather, UV and heat resistance up to 95C.
Parts are intended for indoor use but ASA filament is designed to hold up well in outdoor conditions. However it is not recommended to leave parts exposed in freezing conditions during winter months.
Parts are all printed to order on a Bambu Lab Carbon X1 3D printer.
Battery Safety
Please note that the batteries are NOT enclosed in the holder as with the original Playmobil version.
The retention clips do not make removing the batteries easy, however this should not be relied upon to keep them out of the reach of children. (Especially not if the tabs are removed for use with rechargeable batteries)
ADULT SUPERVISION REQUIRED. KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
